Investigating Polarization-Sensitive Transmission and Reflection Metasurfaces for Advanced Wavefront Manipulation

This paper presents the design and optimization of a dual-band polarization-dependent metasurface capable dynamically switching transmission reflection characteristics. The is composed three metallic patterns, with bottom layer governing phase for both TE-polarization TM-polarization states. middle top layers are strategically employed to ensure optimal performance. results confirm that enables transformation band into complete band, vice versa, through variations in incident wave polarization. Remarkable characteristics achieved within frequency ranges 6.1–6.55 GHz 8.9–9.3 GHz, respectively. proposed offers promising applications advanced communication systems radar technology, enabling dynamic manipulation electromagnetic waves.
